We have lived it the Texas Panhandle all our lives and we have traveled a lot, every time we would head toward home and the closer we would get the wife would start saying she wished we lived someplace else that was nicer. Well beauty is in the eyes of the beholder for some people loves the wide open spaces of the panhandle and I would tell her if we lived someplace else then we would not have anywhere to go on vacation or holiday as some people call it. On the other hand we have never been to your part of the world and we have no idea what it is like but from your pictures it looks beautiful, have a wonderful day from Texas to you.
I have to admit that every trip away from home reminds me how great it is to be home.
I missed Thai food when I was in the US. I missed the traffic in Bangkok when I went to Vietnam. I even missed the air here when I was in Hong Kong… But of course, every place has its pros and cons, unique and imperfect.
Maybe it’s just me got bored of it sometimes and wish I could travel more.
But I’m intended to write more about my view of Bangkok, with its pros and cons and everything. Hope you’ll come back for my more optimistic post soon. 🙂
